Alexa Roberts, former NPS Sand Creek Superintendent; former NPS Lead Archaeologist, Dr. Scott; and former NPS Sand Creek team historian, Jerome Greene, all identified hundreds of Sand Creek artifacts in the Bowens’ home, on separate visits. They were all well aware of the thousands of artifacts the Bowens discovered.
