How did Sand Creek become lost? Mike Bowen, co-author, We Found the Lost Sand Creek Site, presented on the book and how Sand Creek became lost. The program was held Tuesday, August 1 in Springfield, CO at the museum.
There are a lot of misunderstandings concerning the 1864 Sand Creek event, and this book provides a lot of information and clarity that has not been previously available to the public.
